The USAlert WatchDog Replacement Back Cover is a detachable piece of polycarbonate
material that makes up the back side of the WatchDog pager. The Back Cover slides into place from the
bottom of the WatchDog’s main unit and is secured by a metal screw at the bottom of the pager.
The WatchDog Battery Cover slides into the cutout area of the Back Cover and is secured to the pager
with another metal screw. The Battery Cover provides protection for the battery compartment.
The WatchDog Belt Clip attaches to a slotted section located near the top of the Back Cover. The reinforced
belt clip area can occasionally be damaged by extreme twisting or pulling forces that are inherent with
the functionality of the belt clip.
WatchDog Back Covers are designed to be replaceable and can be shipped individually. Pagers are not required
to be returned for repair as replacing a Back Cover is as easy as loosening the Battery Cover screw, removing
the Back Cover screw at the bottom of the pager, and sliding the old Back Cover off of the pager. If you
include the serial number from the back label of your pager, we can even generate a new label for the
replacement Back Cover.
